Flyers

After long hours of hard work I'm finally finished with the flyers for the Centro Don Bosco! The first one is for the special Christmas activities we offer in the Ludoteca. The second one is for a charity run around Christmas, where they collect food in the neighbourhood of San Pedro to redistribute it to people in need.

Well, if you don't know that "entroido" means "carnival" in Galician it's quite hard to associate all the parties, disguises and the special food this magic word is implying. The sociocultural centre Fontiñas

Fontiñas The socio-cultural centre, where our German volunteer Annika works, is located next to the shopping centre Area Central in the district Fontiñas. (According to Annika, the location is quite useful if you realize during work that the fridge is, once again, empty.) The centre Fontiñas covers in total an area of 2,7000 square meters and consists of various different institutions.

Hello again from Olga. No doubt that EVS is a great chance to discover a new culture and get used to different type of daily life. But I am here not only to learn Spanish culture, but also to share the knowledge about my homeland Russian Federation.  It can sound strange to you, but I am not from Moscow or even not from Saint Petersburg. Everybody knows that Russia is enormous but it’s difficult to imagine any other city except these two. Let’s get acquainted with two more at least. I am from beautiful small city Cheboksary, which is situated on the river Volga. It’s one hour by plane from Moscow and we consider it as the central part of a country. To tell the truth, I am not originally Russian, I am Chuvash, and Cheboksary is the capital of Chuvash republic. We are one of more than 160 nationalities that you can find in Russia.
